The parts of healthcare that usually cost the most.

Medications, specialist visits and hospital care are where most people get hurt financially. Your membership includes programs built specifically for those three, plus an app that ties them together.

Prescriptions priced at cost, plus a flat fee

MedHealth Clinical Access is affiliated with Mark Cuban Cost Plus Drug Company, a licensed nationwide pharmacy that publishes what it pays for a medication and then adds a fixed markup and a small pharmacy fee. Nothing is hidden in a rebate or a formulary tier.

For hundreds of common generics, that pricing lands well below what the same prescription costs at a retail counter, and often below what people pay with insurance once a deductible is factored in. Medications ship to your home.

Your provider sends the prescription. You see the price before you confirm it. There's no coverage decision to appeal because there's no coverage decision at all.

How it works

  • Your MedHealth provider writes the prescription during your visit
  • You look up the medication and its price in the member portal
  • The prescription is routed to the pharmacy and shipped to you
  • Refills are handled by message, without an office visit

Available on all three membership tiers. Some medications, including most controlled substances and cold-chain drugs, are not available through this pharmacy. Your provider will tell you when a local pharmacy is the better route.

A specialist network with prices agreed in advance

When you need a cardiologist, an orthopedist, an MRI or a procedure, the hardest part is usually finding out what it will cost. We solved that by negotiating set cash rates with a preferred network of independent specialists and facilities.

You see the price before you book. It doesn't change based on your deductible, and there's no surprise bill weeks later from someone you didn't know was involved.

The network is built around the referrals our providers actually make, so it covers the specialties our patients need most rather than a directory of everyone within fifty miles.

Typically included in the network

  • Cardiology and cardiac testing
  • Orthopedics and sports medicine
  • Gastroenterology, including screening colonoscopy
  • Dermatology
  • Endocrinology
  • Imaging: MRI, CT, ultrasound and X-ray
  • Ambulatory surgery and outpatient procedures
  • Physical therapy

Specialists and facilities are independent practices. They bill you directly at the negotiated rate. Specialty services are not part of your membership fee.

If you need care a clinic can't provide

Direct primary care handles a lot, but it doesn't handle hospitalization, surgery or emergencies. Those are the events that put people into medical debt, and they're also the ones people understand least when they happen.

So we built a referral path. When you're facing something that goes beyond the office, your provider connects you with independent partners whose job is to walk you through what your options are, how each setting works, and what each one is likely to cost. That conversation happens before decisions get made, not after the bill arrives.

Some members use it to understand a planned surgery and compare facilities. Others use it to review what happens if something unexpected lands them in a hospital, and what kind of coverage would sit behind their membership.

How acute care guidance works

Ask your provider, request it in the portal, or use the form below. We introduce you to an independent partner, and you work with them directly from that point.

MedHealth does not sell, quote, compare or recommend insurance products. Coverage discussions are handled only by independent licensed insurance agents. We make the introduction and step back.

Acute care guidance is included with Access Platinum and available on request with Access Gold.

Want coverage options quoted?

Tell us how to reach you and an independent licensed insurance agent will explain and quote catastrophic hospital coverage and hospital indemnity. No cost, no obligation, and your membership is unaffected either way.

In an emergency

Call 911 or go to the nearest emergency department. Tell your MedHealth provider as soon as you can afterward so we can pick up your follow-up care.

Every benefit here comes with every plan.

Memberships start at $49 a month.
